Job summary

SMM PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a specialist to drive energy efficiency and sustainability projects in line with Green Mark standards. You will conduct audits, analyse consumption data, and propose cost-saving measures across building systems.

Ideal candidates have GMAP/GMAAP certifications, 3+ years of Green Mark experience, and a strong understanding of energy management and building services. This role is based on-site in Singapore and focuses on delivering tangible energy savings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Green Mark project experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives aligned with GreenGov and Green Mark requirements.
• Conduct preliminary energy audits and assess energy performance of facility equipment and systems.
• Analyse historical energy consumption and cost data to identify usage patterns and inefficiencies.
• Conduct data logging and sampling of major energy-consuming systems including A/C, MV, and data centres.
• Review M&E specifications, as-built drawings, equipment performance and operating conditions.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend suitable energy conservation measures.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit assessments for proposed initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on energy optimisation and quality electricity supply to improve efficiency and costs.
• Prepare annual audit reports covering observations, solutions, and estimated implementation costs.

• Assist Employer Representatives in implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives in line with the GreenGov movement and Green Mark requirements.
• Conduct preliminary energy audits and assess the energy performance of existing facility equipment and systems.
• Analyse historical energy consumption and cost data to identify energy usage patterns, inefficiencies, and potential energy wastage.
• Conduct data logging and sampling of major energy-consuming systems, including air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and data centre systems.
• Review M&E specifications, as-built drawings, equipment performance, and operating conditions.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend suitable energy conservation measures.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit assessments for proposed energy-saving initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on energy optimisation and quality electricity supply to improve energy efficiency and cost savings.
• Prepare annual audit reports covering observations, recommended solutions, and estimated implementation costs.

Requirements

• Green Mark Advanced Professional (GMAP) or Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAAP) certification. Minimum 3 years of relevant Green Mark project experience.

• Successful completion of the required Green Mark accreditation requirements.
• Experience in energy management, sustainability initiatives, energy audits, and Green Mark-related projects will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of energy efficiency, building systems, and sustainability practices.
