Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Green Mark Manager to assist Employer Representatives at sites, identifying and implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives in line with GreenGov and Green Mark requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting preliminary energy audits, analysing energy consumption, reviewing M&E specifications, and delivering annual audit reports with cost estimates. GMAP/GMAAP certification and 3+ years of project experience are required.

Qualifications

• GMAP or GMAAP certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Green Mark project experience.
• Experience in energy management and sustainability initiatives is advantageous.
• Good understanding of energy efficiency and building systems.

Job description

The Green Mark Manager is to assist the Employer Representatives at sites in identifying and implementing energy saving as well as sustainability initiatives in line with Greengov movement, including to advise and recommend on suitable Green Mark initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist Employer Representatives in implementing energy-saving and sustainability initiatives in line with the GreenGov movement and Green Mark requirements.
• Conduct preliminary energy audits and assess the energy performance of existing facility equipment and systems.
• Analyse historical energy consumption and cost data to identify energy usage patterns, inefficiencies, and potential energy wastage.
• Conduct data logging and sampling of major energy-consuming systems, including air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, and data centre systems.
• Review M&E specifications, as-built drawings, equipment performance, and operating conditions.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend suitable energy conservation measures.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit assessments for proposed energy-saving initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on energy optimisation and quality electricity supply to improve energy efficiency and cost savings.
• Prepare annual audit reports covering observations, recommended solutions, and estimated implementation costs.

Requirements

• Green Mark Advanced Professional (GMAP) or Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAAP) certification. Minimum 3 years of relevant Green Mark project experience.
• Successful completion of the required Green Mark accreditation requirements.
• Experience in energy management, sustainability initiatives, energy audits, and Green Mark-related projects will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of energy efficiency, building systems, and sustainability practices.
