Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years in public sector policy, planning or governance.
• experience or strong interest in governance and policy, preferably in R&D sector.
• keen interest in science, technology and R&D.
• strong analytical, problem-solving and writing skills.

• resourceful, independent and able to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants administration by reviewing proposals, reports, fund requisitions and other grant documents.
• Support funding evaluation and governance processes, including meeting coordination, procurement, logistics, minutes-taking and record management.
• Liaise with grantees and research stakeholders on pre- and post-award matters, policies and grant processes.
• Monitor awarded grants by tracking project KPIs, milestones, progress and budget utilisation, and flagging issues for early intervention.
• Manage and analyse grants data, including data cleaning, maintenance, reporting and updates for stakeholders.
• Support grants policies and process improvements, contributing to best practices and stewardship of research funding.
