Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Assistant Manager to administer health innovation funding schemes and govern grants end to end. You will support transformation through strong governance and strategic partnerships with healthcare stakeholders.

You will manage grant operations, review proposals and budgets, and prepare senior leadership reports. This role offers exposure to national initiatives, audit-ready policies and ongoing programme development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Business, Healthcare Administration or related discipline and above.
• Experience managing grants, ideally research grants.
• Experience working with public sector or healthcare stakeholders is an advantage.
• Strong project and programme coordination skills.
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
• Sound analytical and financial management skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Administer national and institutional health innovation funding schemes end to end.
• Manage grant operations from call prep to award, disbursement and closure.
• Coordinate with agencies, healthcare clusters and funders to align projects with funding priorities.
• Review grant proposals, budgets and milestones for compliance and quality.
• Track project progress, utilisation and outcomes, and prepare reports for management and funders.
• Organise briefings, review panels and engagement sessions for investigators and innovators.
• Support design and rollout of programmes that build an innovation culture.
• Maintain policies, processes and documentation for audit readiness.
• Advise project teams on funding rules, claims and reporting requirements.
• Prepare papers, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.
