Job summary

VOYAGE CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Wholesale Trade Director to lead our wholesale trading operations, supplier relationships and international trade activities.

You will oversee procurement, sales strategy and financial management to optimise margins, manage cash flow and expand business opportunities across regional markets.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to negotiate terms with banks, suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or related discipline.
• Substantial wholesale trading and international trade experience.
• Experience with financial planning, treasury management and cash flow.
• Strong commercial and financial analytical skills and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead wholesale trading operations including procurement, supplier management, sales, distribution and international trade.
• Develop strategies to expand wholesale operations and profitability.
• Identify new markets, suppliers, customers and partnerships.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management and working capital.
• Manage banking relationships, trade financing facilities and documentation.
• Monitor FX exposure and mitigate currency risks.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers, customers to optimise pricing and terms.
• Oversee import/export documentation and cross-border transactions.
• Report on performance and strategic priorities to management.
