Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to coordinate customer and internal teams for production line setup and ramp-up. You will drive line bring-up, work with Test/Process Engineering, Quality and NPI teams, and address technical issues with customers.

The role requires strong problem solving, cross-functional coordination, and willingness to travel internationally, including overseas locations. Manufacturing experience and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or related field.
3–7 years of experience in Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Technical Project Management or related.
Experience in electronics manufacturing, NPI or production line bring-up preferred.
Hands-on experience with test and measurement methodologies; calibration or specialised testing advantageous.
Strong customer-facing and cross-functional coordination skills.
Strong problem solving skills with ability to drive issues to resolution.
International customer or engineering experience advantageous.
Willing to be based in China and travel frequently within Asia and overseas.
Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate between customers and internal engineering teams to support successful production line setup and ramp-up.
Lead line bring-up activities and coordinate with Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality and NPI teams.
Act as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing technical issues, test abnormalities and quality concerns.
Track and drive closure of cross-functional engineering and testing issues.
Support on-site troubleshooting, customer meetings and production ramp-up activities at overseas locations.
Monitor testing results, project progress, risks and technical issues, and provide updates to customers and management.
Work with engineering teams to resolve issues affecting production yield and project timelines.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
