in Singapore seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians, aligning priorities with production schedules, quality goals, and KPIs. You will drive process optimization, standardization, rapid changeovers, and strong cross-functional collaboration with QA and production, while maintaining documentation and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Knowledge of ERP/MES systems for routing and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing/process engineers and technicians.
• Establish engineering priorities aligned with production schedules, quality goals, and business KPIs.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop long-term manufacturing strategies (capacity, automation, footprint).
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of downtime, defects, or bottlenecks.
• Implement standardized work, error-proofing (poka-yoke), and rapid changeover techniques.
• Work with Production to resolve daily technical issues and improve throughput.
• Partner with Quality to address root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate master document, plant layouts, work instructions, and equipment records.
• Establish engineering standards for material selection, tolerances, and vendor qualifications.
