Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Shipping Documentation Clerk to prepare full sets of documents for Import/Export, Back to Back and Transhipment, including D/O, Invoices, LC and COO.

You will liaise with warehouses, freight forwarders, and liners to secure competitive rates and ensure HS codes are correct. Responsibilities include issuing L/Cs, customs permits, CNB licenses, marine insurance handling, and cross-department coordination with overseas partners.

Qualifications

• Must possess Tradenet/Tradeweb Certificate as well as Customs Competency Test Certificate.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, UPC rules, Charter Party Terms, Demurrage & Laytime.
• Able to issue L/C and knowledge of S/G, D/A, D/P.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in handling of Hazardous Cargo including Marine Insurance Claims.
• Experience in handling of Liquid Bulk Chemicals an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of Shipping Documents (Import/Export, Back to Back & Transhipment) including D/O, Invoices, Letter of Credit, COO (FTA), etc
• Issuing of L/C for Imports & Negotiation of L/C for exports
• Customs Permit Declaration & CNB Licence Application
• Handle Marine Insurance and Claims
• Liase and Co-ordinate with Warehouse, Freight Forwarders & Liners
• Source for competitive freight rates
• Liase with overseas customers/suppliers and work closely with various departments
• Checking of HS Codes
• Checking and accepting of vessel nomination
• Liase with overseas customers
