Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Shipping Documentation Specialist in Penjuru, Singapore. You will prepare complete shipping documents for imports/exports, issue and negotiate L/Cs, declare permits, and coordinate with warehouses, forwarders and liners to ensure timely cargo movement.

You will handle marine insurance, check HS codes, and liaise with overseas partners, aiming to optimize freight costs and compliance across all shipments.

Qualifications

• Shipping and import/export documentation experience is required.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, Charter Party Terms, Demurrage & Laytime is essential.
• Ability to issue L/Cs and understand related documents and processes.
• Experience with customs compliance and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of shipping documents (Import/Export, Back to Back, Transhipment) including DOs, invoices, L/C, COO, etc.
• Issue L/C for imports and negotiate L/C for exports.
• Declare customs permits and apply for CNB licences.
• Handle marine insurance and claims.
• Liaise and coordinate with warehouse, freight forwarders and liners.
• Source competitive freight rates.
• Liaise with overseas customers/suppliers and work with multiple departments.
• Check HS codes for shipments.
• Confirm vessel nomination and related arrangements.
• Communicate with overseas customers to ensure smooth cargo flow.
