Job summary

SVANEHOJ SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Mechanical Service Engineer to perform service and overhaul of Svanehoj and ITT pumps, including In-line, ballast water and cargo pumps.

You will inspect, service, repair, and troubleshoot drives and pumps, and supervise yard workers during complex tasks. Responsibilities include organizing on-board or workshop tasks, finalising detailed service reports, building strong customer relationships on-site, and ensuring safety and environmental guidelines are

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering or Marine service engineering background.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to write detailed technical reports in English.
• Willingness to travel globally for jobs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and overhaul of Svanejoj and ITT products incl. pumps.
• Inspect, service, repair and troubleshoot pumps and drive lines.
• Install Svanehoj pumps and ITT products on new builds.
• Supervise yard workers during overhaul, service, repair and installation.
• Organize repair, service, installation tasks on board or in workshop.
• Finalize detailed service reports after each job.
• Build good customer relationships on-site.
• Ensure work follows safety and environmental guidelines.
• Write reports on tasks for inspections and installations.
• Travel globally for job assignments.
