Job summary

Svanehøj Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Mechanical Service Engineer to perform on-site maintenance, overhaul, and installation of Svanehøj pumps and ITT products worldwide, delivering high-quality service outcomes across marine and industrial applications.

Responsibilities include supervising yard staff, organizing tasks, writing detailed English reports, and traveling globally to client sites while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering background required.

• Ability to act as responsible and execute several projects at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and overhaul of Svanehoj and ITT products including pumps.
• Mechanical inspection, service, repair and troubleshooting of pumps and drive lines.
• Install Svanehoj pumps and ITT products on new builds.
• Supervise yard workers during overhaul, service, repair, or installation.
• Organize repair/service/installation tasks on board with involved parties.
• Prepare detailed service reports after each job completion.
• Maintain good on-site relationships with customers.
• Ensure work complies with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Write reports on tasks for inspection, service, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting and installation.
• Willing to work under pressure and travel globally for jobs.

Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform service and overhaul of Svanehoj and ITT supported products including machinery like In-line, ballast water and Cargo pumps.

• Mechanical inspection, service, repair and troubleshooting of pumps and drive lines.

• Perform new build installations of Svanehoj pumps and ITT supported products.

• Supervise yard workers assigned during the overhaul/service/repair/installation

• Organize the repair/service/installation/mechanical tasks on board with respective involved parties and/or in workshop

• Finalize detailed service report after completion of each job

• Build good relationship with our customer on-site

• Ensure that the work is executed according to company safety and environmental guidelines and customer procedures

• Writing reports on task carried out for inspection, service, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting and installation jobs

• Willingness to carry out mechanical inspection, service, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting and installation under extreme pressure

• Active travelling globally for jobs
