Job summary

Svanehoj is seeking a skilled Marine Service Engineer to perform service, overhaul and installation of pumps and related equipment. You will inspect, repair and troubleshoot mechanical systems, and supervise yard workers during projects.

Travel globally to customer sites, organize tasks with multiple parties, and produce detailed service reports in English. The role requires strict adherence to safety and environmental guidelines and prompt, reliable communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical/marine service background.
• Write detailed technical reports in English.
• Ability to manage multiple POCs and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and overhaul of Svanehoj and ITT supported products including machinery like In-line, ballast water and Cargo pumps.
• Mechanical inspection, service, repair and troubleshooting of pumps and drive lines.
• Perform new build installations of Svanehoj pumps and ITT supported products.
• Supervise yard workers assigned during the overhaul/service/repair/installation.
• Organize repair/service/installation/mechanical tasks on board with involved parties or in workshop.
• Finalize detailed service reports after completion of each job.
• Build good relationships with customers on-site.
• Ensure work follows safety, environmental guidelines and customer procedures.
• Write reports on tasks carried out for inspection, service, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting and installation.
