Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Sales & Shipping Coordinator based at Raffles Place to manage end-to-end sales processes and shipping documentation for pump technology within the shipbuilding sector.

The candidate should have 5–6 years' experience, be proficient in Japanese to liaise with HQ, and coordinate with freight forwarders while ensuring accurate Incoterms compliance and timely invoicing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or its equivalent.
• 5–6 years of relevant working experience.
• Hands-on experience in order processing.
• Hands-on experience in preparing full set of shipping documentation.
• Familiar with shipping Incoterms.
• Proficient in Japanese to liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, able to multi task.
• Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow through entire sales process (quotation, order processing, delivery arrangement and invoicing).
• Follow up closely on sales enquiries, quotation submitted and achieving sales target.
• Manage relationship with new and existing customers.
• Monitor customers’ payment schedule and chase for outstanding invoices.
• Handle and prepare full sets shipping documentation (delivery order, packing list, invoice, etc.).
• Liaise with freight forwarders on shipping arrangement and familiar with shipping Incoterms.
• Assist in preparing various sales reports, attend exhibition and complete sales related activities.
• Other ad-hoc tasks being assigned.
