Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Global Retail Portfolio Cost Manager to lead end-to-end cost governance for its worldwide store portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring investments in new builds, refurbishments, relocations and maintenance stay within budget and align with commercial priorities.

You will drive cost optimisation, benchmark development, and reporting while partnering with markets, design, finance and procurement to manage CAPEX and supplier terms across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of P&L structure and cost drivers across store portfolios.
• Ability to interpret store-level economics vs portfolio-wide trade-offs.
• Knowledge of ROI/IRR and CAPEX vs OPEX dynamics.
• Experience managing multi-country retail portfolios and complex rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement global cost management frameworks for retail store development and fit-out.
• Establish standard cost benchmarks, KPIs, and reporting structures.
• Drive cost discipline across the full store lifecycle from design to post-opening review.
• Provide portfolio-level visibility on CAPEX, cost trends and risk exposure.
• Partner with Procurement for global sourcing strategies and major cost negotiations.
