Job summary

Marex is seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide technical and functional support for global payments and settlement platforms, including cross-border payments and FX. You will handle day-to-day incidents, problems, and outages, ensuring high-quality service.

The role includes developing automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to streamline monitoring and reporting, while collaborating with infrastructure, service desk and IT groups in a follow-the-sun model.

Qualifications

• Solid background in Windows and Linux/Unix OS with strong SQL/Oracle skills.
• Experience in financial services/payments, FX operations.
• Knowledge of payment schemes: SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, Faster Payments.
• Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for payments and settlement platforms, including cross-border payments and FX.
• Deliver 2nd and 3rd line application support to internal teams.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to streamline monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate strategically with insight and agility to anticipate future challenges and ensure operations effectiveness.
