Job summary

Marex seeks an Application Support Analyst to deliver technical support for global payments and transaction processing platforms, including cross-border payments, FX settlement, and local schemes. You will own issues end-to-end, drive resolution, and partner with infrastructure, service desk and IT groups.

You will apply ITIL practices, manage incidents, and contribute to automation and process improvements in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Windows and Linux/Unix OS, with SQL/Oracle database skills.
• Experience in financial services or banking, ideally payments, treasury or FX operations.
• Understanding of payment messaging standards (SWIFT MT/MX, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA).
• Experience with API-based integrations and onboarding of clients into payments/FX systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line application support for payments and settlement platforms.
• Handle incidents, problems, and outages; ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, service desk, and IT teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
