Job summary

Hurda Recycling Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Commodity Trader to drive trading activities across local and international markets. You will manage the procurement and sales of copper, brass, aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, HMS, and other recyclables while building strong relationships with recyclers, foundries, processors and exporters.

A Diploma or degree is required, with 1–5 years in metal trading or related sales.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
1–5 years of metal trading, brokering, or commodity sales.
Solid understanding of metal grades and specifications.
Exposure to regional trade networks in South Asia or ASEAN is a plus.
Familiar with Incoterms and international trade documentation.
Willing to travel to maintain supplier/buyer relationships.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement and sales of copper, brass, aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, HMS and other recyclables.
Develop and nurture relationships with recyclers, foundries, processors and exporters.
Monitor international pricing, freight rates and market dynamics for strategic decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams to match supply and demand and optimise margins.
Oversee end-to-end deal execution including documentation, logistics, and payment terms.
Support reporting and provide data-backed insights for decision making.
