Job summary

Heraeus Electronics in Singapore seeks a seasoned procurement professional to lead strategy and expertise in metal commodities. You will drive strategic sourcing, market intelligence and risk management to build a resilient supply chain.

You will develop commodity strategies for metals such as tin, aluminum, copper; analyze indices and market trends; and implement cost improvements, tools, and best practices to strengthen procurement capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as SCM, engineering or economics.
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
Procurement experience with metal-based commodities.
Familiarity with commodity indices and pricing models.
Understanding of global metal markets (tin, Cu, Al).
Knowledge of price risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain commodity strategies for key metals (e.g., Tin, Al, Cu).
Analyze commodity indices, market trends, supply-demand dynamics and geopolitical developments.
Drive cost improvement and value engineering initiatives.
Develop commodity management tools, playbooks and best practices.
Develop procurement team competencies on procurement fundamentals and strategies.
Maintain commodity dashboards and forecasting tools.
