Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore seeks a trader to maximize profits from HRP, long products and slabs sourced mainly from Southeast-Asian and Chinese mills. You will trade with Japanese mills, supply ERSS contractors in Singapore, and market to customers across Southeast Asia and beyond.

The role requires strong numeracy, good communication, travel readiness, and solid knowledge of HRP, rebar/sections and slabs. This position is based in Singapore and involves coordination with multiple suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• Solid product knowledge: HRP, Rebar/Sections, Slabs; ERSS familiarity is a plus.
• Strong numeracy for cost sheets, FX and freight calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel when required for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Maximize profits from HRP, long products and slab by trading with Singapore stockists and contractors.
• Supply ERSS contractors in Singapore through multiple suppliers.
• Trade HRP, long products and slab to overseas customers in Southeast Asia, Australia, India and remote markets.
