Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in Singapore is seeking a Logistics and Trade Associate to manage global import/export processes, Incoterms, and compliance. The role covers dispatch, export/import documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs authorities.

You will support duties and licenses, ensure accurate paperwork, and help optimize logistics across international sites while working closely with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in import and export logistics.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms.
• Ability to identify, research, and analyse compliance issues related to products.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn with a can-do attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills, meeting tight deadlines in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate dispatch of goods to international destinations.
• Create trade documents (invoices) ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Secure export permits and licenses for exports.
• Ensure import permits and licenses for imports when required.
• Declare consignments to freight forwarders and prepare export/import paperwork.
• Coordinate customs clearance across global locations and manage duty/tax payments.
• Collate Dispatch Notes for timely shipments and maintain records.
• Adhere to document retention and shipping instruction guidelines.
• Verify freight accounts for export/import charges with forwarders and agents.
