Job summary

FedEx Express is hiring a Manager Operations (SIN Gateway) in Singapore. You will lead, motivate and empower a team to maximise customer satisfaction and productivity, while analysing location results to hit service quality and cost targets.

You will implement customer-focused initiatives and drive standard reporting and cost control. The role requires at least five years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership with knowledge of warehouse management and supply chain

Qualifications

• Effective leadership and management experience with the ability to problem solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a strong understanding of warehouse management principles, supply chain processes, and relevant regulations, along with proficiency in financial management and performance metrics.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and empower employees through effective and open communication, strong leadership, regular performance feedback and team building to maximise customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and productivity.
• Analyse day-to-day results in location operations and take action to meet location targets for service quality, loss and damage reduction, at optimum costs.
• Establish a customer-focused culture by implementing and managing initiatives and tools that aim to achieve customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention.
• Use and develop standard tools and methods to ensure daily/weekly/monthly reporting, measurement and control of resources, activity service performance and cost.
• Ensure continuous improvement and share best practices implementation.
• Initiate and implement optimisation programs to achieve efficient activities and continuous improvement on incurred unit cost.
• Explore opportunities to improve service level in the most cost-efficient way.
• Ensure all resources are focused to achieve high quality service performance.
• Ensure staff are trained identifying training needs and implementing programs and people development strategies.
