Job summary

GLOBAL EXPRESS RECRUITMENT SERVICES in Singapore is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee all logistical activities, drive cost efficiencies, and lead a team of logistics personnel. Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in logistics leadership.
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with logistics software and tools (ERP, TMS, etc.).
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Strong verbal and written communication; cross-department collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all logistical activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of logistics personnel to achieve departmental goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to meet demand.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies for transportation and storage of goods.
• Evaluate and select third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts as necessary.
• Analyze data and generate reports to track KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Resolve logistical issues and address customer concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales to coordinate logistics activities and support business objectives.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
