Job summary

Horiba Instruments (S) Pte Ltd is a global leader in scientific instrumentation, seeking a Service Engineer to support advanced analytical instruments used in research, manufacturing, and high-tech industries.

You will travel regionally to install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, spectroscopy, and ICP systems, while providing training and technical support to customers.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering/instrumentation field.
Minimum 2 years of service experience; fresh graduates welcome.
Willingness to travel overseas; local travel required.
Strong troubleshooting mindset and clear service documentation.
Excellent planning and time management; proactive and able to work independently.
Experience with analytical instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, spectroscopy, and ICP.

Responsibilities

Provide technical service and support for advanced analytical instruments at customer sites.
Travel regionally for installation, commissioning, calibration and validation, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure all service activities meet quality and safety standards.
Prepare accurate quotations for repairs, maintenance, parts and labor.
Record service reports and maintain technical documentation.
Deliver end-user training and support to customers and distributors.
Coordinate with global teams to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.
Identify and develop service business opportunities like maintenance contracts and upgrades.
