Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager in Singapore to lead a forwarding team and drive continuous service improvements. You will manage ISO 9001 documentation, coordinate vessel bookings, and negotiate freight rates with forwarders while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

You will also develop tailored logistics solutions for customers, oversee documentation for exports including LC shipments, and monitor KPIs to optimize costs and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading logistics teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to prepare and verify export shipping documents including LC shipments.
• Strong knowledge of customs declarations and international trade controls.
• Proven vendor management, freight rate negotiation, and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the team by developing strategies to improve service quality and transit time.
• Collaborate with management to support new and existing customers.
• Manage ISO 9001 documentation and compliance.
• Train and enhance the competency and productivity of the department.
• Manage vendor relationships with contractors and forwarders.
• Negotiate freight rates and coordinate vessel bookings.
• Prepare export shipping documents and LC-related processes.
• Develop logistics solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with customs requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day forwarding operations and inspections.
• Prepare sales contracts, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Plan and track shipment activities for timely execution.
