Job summary

DHL Express Singapore is seeking a dedicated Clearance Support Agent for the South Asia Hub. You will manage shipment clearance, liaise with customers and authorities, and ensure accurate customs data for submissions.

Responsibilities include tracing shipments, advising on duties and taxes, and resolving customer issues while maintaining professional conduct with regulatory bodies. Shift work is required, located at Singapore Airport Cargo Road.

Qualifications

• Minimum O Level/ Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customs clearance within logistics, international transportation or brokerage.
• Customs competency test certificate is required.
• Customer service skills.
• The role is required to perform shift work.
• Class 3 driving license is preferred/advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clearance of DHL shipments by communicating with internal and external customers on clearance requirements.
• Provide full tracing service for customers and other DHL stations to expedite customs clearance.
• Provide duty and tax advice notification and seek payment approvals when due exceeds DHL’s limits.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to customer satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate and compliant customs data for submission to Customs and other regulatory authorities.
