You will leverage market insights, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize procurement channels while ensuring contractual compliance. Ideal candidates have extensive trading experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage cross-cultural relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong market analysis skills for coal and bulk commodities.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin for communication with management in China.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze supply-demand dynamics, price trends, and market developments in the thermal coal sector to support trading and commercial decisions.
• Source, procure, and manage thermal coal supplies, building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure stable procurement channels.
• Assess mining production conditions to evaluate and optimize procurement sources.
• Execute procurement and sales transactions, ensuring smooth deal execution and contractual compliance.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with market conditions and company objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and trading partners across international markets.
• Identify, assess, and manage market and transactional risks, implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery, to optimize costs and ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support end-to-end trade execution and resolve operational issues.
