Job summary

Tardis Group, a global trading organization, seeks a Coal Trader to lead sourcing, trading, and market analysis across regional and international markets. You will manage supplier and customer relationships, execute contracts, and coordinate logistics with internal teams to ensure smooth end-to-end trade operations.

The role requires 5+ years in coal or bulk commodities, strong negotiation skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of trading experience in coal, energy, or bulk commodities with international exposure.
Strong market analysis, negotiation, and contract management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cultures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing movements to support trading strategies.
Source and procure thermal coal from international suppliers.
Execute purchase and sales contracts ensuring compliance with terms.
Develop regional sales and trading strategies and coordinate logistics.
Work with trading, operations, shipping and finance teams for end-to-end trade execution.
Identify and manage risk with mitigation strategies.
Maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and trading partners.
