Wilhelmsen Ship Management Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its Newbuilding Supervision business globally from Singapore.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with shipowners and other maritime stakeholders, and prepare commercial proposals and tenders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Nautical Science.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration or related field is an advantage.
• Strong commercial mindset with a passion for customer engagement and business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the newbuilding supervision market.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, investors, leasing companies, shipyards, and other industry stakeholders.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Conduct regular customer engagement activities to strengthen relationships and identify future opportunities.
• Develop professional networks within shipyards to facilitate collaboration between owners and shipyards.
• Prepare and coordinate customer proposals, tenders, presentations, and commercial submissions.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within CRM systems.
• Coordinate customer handovers from contract award through project commencement.
