Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a GIS Business Analyst / Product Manager to bridge geospatial tech and business needs. You will define requirements, manage backlogs, and work with data engineers to deliver GIS-enabled products that support decision-making.

You will conduct user research, validate design choices, and drive adoption through training materials and documentation. Prior GIS experience and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Hands-on GIS experience with ArcGIS, QGIS or MapboxGL.
• Strong communication and facilitation across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into product specs and user stories for GIS apps and data platforms.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog; drive timely GIS solution delivery in Agile.
• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to shape direction.
• Analyse spatial datasets to surface insights and support planning decisions.
• Develop training materials and change management to boost adoption of GIS tools.
