Job summary

Epergne Solutions in Singapore seeks a GIS Technical Lead with 8–10 years in IT and at least 5 in GIS leadership to drive complex GIS deployments.

You will lead on-site client engagements, translate requirements into robust technical designs, ensure non-functional requirements such as performance and security, and design system integrations using ArcGIS, Python and FME.

Job Title: GIS Technical Lead

Location: Singapore

Experience: 8 10 years in the IT industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a GIS Technical Lead role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end GIS implementation projects, with proven experience in at least 4 on-site client engagements as a GIS Technical Lead.
• Collaborate with client-side enterprise architects to understand and align with enterprise architecture principles, ensuring all solutions adhere to defined standards and guidelines.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical design documents, ensuring clarity and traceability.
• Address and incorporate non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, etc.) into the overall solution architecture.
• Design and implement system integrations, both file-based and service-based (REST/SOAP APIs), ensuring seamless data exchange with external systems.

Technical Skills & Tools:

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• WebApp Builder and/or Experience Builder
• ArcGIS JavaScript API
• Python for scripting and automation
• Proficient in spatial data migration using tools such as FME.
• Deep understanding of ArcGIS infrastructure setup, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Skilled in installation and configuration of the ArcGIS platform in various environments (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent client engagement capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate and present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks.
