Job summary
Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based technology consultancy, seeks a GIS Business Analyst / Product Manager to bridge geospatial tech with business needs. You will define GIS-enabled products, collaborate with stakeholders, data teams, and developers to deliver solutions that support decision-making.
You will manage backlogs, perform user research, and drive adoption through training and documentation.
Qualifications
- Degree in Geography, Urban Planning, CS, IS or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in GIS, business analysis or product management.
- Hands-on GIS platforms like ArcGIS, QGIS; familiarity with spatial SQL, Python.
- Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences; strong communication.
- Experience in agile product environments; familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into GIS product specs and user stories.
- Manage backlog and priorities; act as product owner for GIS solutions.
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing.
- Analyse spatial datasets to surface insights and support planning.
- Develop training materials and change management for GIS tool adoption.
