Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a GIS Product Manager to bridge geospatial technology and business needs. You will translate requirements into GIS product specs, own the backlog, and collaborate with stakeholders, data teams, and developers to drive GIS-enabled solutions that support decision-making across the organisation.

You will conduct user research, manage workflows and spatial data platforms, and ensure delivery in an agile environment while building training and change management

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 3–5 years GIS or product experience.
• Hands-on GIS platforms: Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, MapboxGL; familiarity with spatial SQL, Python, web mapping.
• Strong communication and facilitation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in an agile product environment; familiarity with Jira / Confluence.
• Prior GIS delivery for SG government agencies is strongly preferred; SG public sector context knowledge.
• GIS certifications (Esri, SSSI) or cloud GIS certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of observability/monitoring for web GIS apps and data governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into product specs and user stories for GIS apps and spatial data platforms.
• Manage product backlog, prioritise features, and ensure timely GIS solution delivery in an agile setting as product owner.
• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to guide product direction and validate decisions.
• Analyse spatial datasets to surface insights and support planning using GIS tools and data pipelines.
• Develop training materials and change management plans to drive adoption of GIS tools.
