Job summary

Gorilla Studio is seeking a skilled artist to independently create character and environment concepts for stylized mobile games. You will support UI visuals, produce marketing assets, and polish AI-generated concepts into original, high-quality artwork.

Job description

• Independently create character and environment concept art, to ensure consistent and high-quality visual output.
• Support the UI team with visual effect design, interface packaging and in-game event visuals, maintaining unified project art style.
• Produce key visuals and marketing art assets, including promotional posters, main event visuals and commercial art materials for project operation and brand promotion.
• Utilize AI tools to assist concept creation, accelerate sketch iteration and asset generation, and polish final artwork manually to guarantee originality and visual quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, deliver standardized art assets, and support continuous project iteration.
• Participate in art style optimization and asset review to improve overall project visual standards.

Job Requirements

• Strong art fundamentals with experience in stylized mobile game art. Able to adapt to different visual styles and project requirements.
• Support UI development with rough UI layouts, mockups and visual concepts, including event pages and feature visuals, to communicate ideas and maintain a consistent art style.
• Capable of assisting UI visual development and interface aesthetic optimization.
• Proficient in AI-augmented creation workflows, able to leverage AI tools efficiently while ensuring polished and unified final results.
• Strong commercial aesthetic and key visual design skills with rich experience in marketing art production.
• Effective communication, efficient execution and rigorous work attitude, able to adapt to iterative project schedules.
• Passionate about game development, with an interest in game design and game engines such as Unity or Unreal. Familiarity with game engines is a plus
• A complete portfoliois required for application.
