Job summary

OCBC invites you to join the FXD – G7 & SGD team as an intern, gaining hands-on Experience in FX options trading, market analytics, and technology. You’ll support the trading desk, analyze market data, and help automate processes using Python and VBA.

Open to undergraduates or postgraduates, you’ll collaborate with traders, quants, and developers to build scalable tools, backtest strategies, and improve pricing infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• It is an internship role within OCBC's Global Markets FXD – G7 & SGD team.
• Open to learning and willing to work with traders, quants and developers.
• Strong interest in financial markets and derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Trading Desk Support: assist FX Options trading desk with funding activities, risk monitoring, and market analysis materials
• Market Data & Analytics: maintain FX options data and trade datasets to support trading and research
• Trading Strategy Support: help automate signal generation, backtesting, and strategy analysis
• Pricing & Risk Infrastructure: assist in enhancing pricing tools and valuation analytics
• Process Automation: develop and maintain VBA- and Python-based automation tools
• Data Analysis & Reporting: analyze trading, risk, and market data for decision-making
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work with trading, quantitative, and technology teams on improvements
• Ad-hoc Projects: support strategic initiatives and other projects
