Job summary

OCBC Singapore’s Global Markets internship offers hands-on exposure to FX options trading, market analytics, and automation. You will support the FXD – G7 & SGD desk alongside traders, quants and developers to enhance tools and trading workflows.

You'll build proficiency in Python and VBA, analyze market data, and help automate processes in a fast-paced trading environment while learning from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
• Strong interest in financial markets, FX, and derivatives.
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills.
• Proficient in Python and VBA.
• Comfortable working with data, models, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide FX options trading desk support including funding activities, risk monitoring, and market analysis materials.
• Maintain and enhance FX options market databases to support trading and research.
• Collaborate with traders and quants to automate signal generation and backtesting.
• Improve pricing and analytics infrastructure for FX options valuation.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade VBA- and Python-based automation tools.
