Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore offers an internship with the FXD - G7 & SG team to support FX options trading, analytics and automation. You will work with traders, quants and developers to improve tooling and trading efficiency.

Open to learners with a passion for technology and financial markets, you will analyze data, build automation in Python and VBA, and gain experience across pricing, risk and data management in a leading regional bank.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Strong interest in financial markets and derivatives.
• Proficient in Python and VBA with a willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Trading Desk Support: assist FX options trading desk with funding, risk monitoring, reporting and market analysis materials.
• Market Data & Analytics: maintain FX options databases and trade data for research and trading.
• Trading Strategy Support: help automate signals, backtest strategies and analyze performance.
• Pricing & Risk Infrastructure: collaborate to enhance pricing tools and valuation analytics.
• Process Automation: develop VBA- and Python-based automation to improve efficiency.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: analyze trading and risk data for decision making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work with traders, quants and tech teams on improvements.
• Ad-hoc Projects: support strategic initiatives and process enhancements.
