Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks a Fund Operations & Finance Manager to oversee fund operations, financial reporting and corporate finance activities for a private markets platform. You will coordinate with fund administrators, banks and service providers, manage LP onboarding, closings, and capital calls, and ensure accurate NAV calculations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum five years of fund operations experience in private equity, VC or asset management.
• Strong understanding of NAV, distributions, capital calls, carried interest and fund reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day fund operations with external service providers.
• Oversee LP onboarding, fund closings, capital calls, distributions and investment transactions.
• Review NAV calculations, valuations and reports from fund administrators.
• Ensure AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS compliance processes are followed.
• Review waterfall, expenses and LPAs for consistency.
• Coordinate fund audits and LP reporting including performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, DPI, TVPI).
• Oversee accounting, reconciliations, period-end closing and financial reporting for the Singapore entity.
• Coordinate tax compliance, banking activities and statutory audits.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses for Group Finance.

About the role

Fund Operations & Finance Manager to oversee fund operations, financial reporting and corporate finance activities for a Singapore-based private markets investment platform. The role works closely with internal teams and external service providers to coordinate fund administration and financial processes across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day fund operations with fund administrators, custodians, banks and other external service providers.
• Manage limited partner (LP) onboarding, fund closings, capital calls, distributions and investment transactions.
• Maintain accurate fund and investor records and support compliance processes relating to AML/KYC and FATCA/CRS.
• Review net asset value (NAV) calculations, investment valuations and financial reports prepared by fund administrators.
• Review carried interest, distribution waterfall and clawback calculations, together with fund expenses, for consistency with the applicable limited partnership agreements (LPAs).
• Coordinate fund audits and support LP reporting, including the calculation of performance metrics such as IRR, MOIC, DPI and TVPI.
• Oversee accounting, account reconciliations, period-end closing and financial reporting for the Singapore management entity.
• Coordinate tax compliance, banking activities and statutory audits.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses to meet Group Finance reporting requirements.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience in fund operations within private equity, venture capital or asset management.
• A sound understanding of fund operations, including capital calls, distributions, NAV, carried interest and fund reporting.
• Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with Singapore financial reporting standards, tax regulations and MAS requirements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Excel and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin for effective communication with regional stakeholders.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CFA (preferred).
• Experience liaising with external fund administrators, such as Apex, IQ-EQ or Vistra (preferred).
