Job summary

NORTH LONDON COLLEGIATE SCHOOL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Library Assistant to supervise students after school, shelve and track books, and help run a welcoming library space that supports learning and reading.

You will work with the Librarian and teachers to issue materials, keep resources organised, and follow safeguarding policies. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 3pm–6pm, with a contract from September 2026 to June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the library and ensure appropriate behaviour and safety.
• Shelve, organise and maintain books and other library resources.
• Assist with issuing, returning and tracking library materials.
• Keep the library clean, organised and welcoming for students.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and student welfare procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Librarian, teachers and other school staff.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Librarian or school management.
