Smart IMS Inc in Singapore is seeking a Front Office Trading Application Support Specialist to provide frontline production support for our client, a leading global investment bank.

You will collaborate with Front Office users, development teams, and infrastructure groups to ensure platform stability across FICC Credit trading, sales, and risk management, with opportunities to automate monitoring and tooling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Front Office FICC Credit Trading Application Support experience.
• Experience with Fixed Income/Bond/Credit products.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration skills.
• Strong SQL knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Scripting experience with Unix Shell and Perl.
• Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Experience with monitoring tools e.g. ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Elastic, Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

• Provide Front Office production/application support for Front Office FICC Credit trading, sales, and risk management applications.
• Work closely with traders and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve application, trade flow, and production issues.
• Monitor trading platforms, application health, batch processes, and operational workflows for stability and availability.
• Manage incidents and problem management.
• Perform start of day, End of Day and start of week checks.
• Analyze logs, activity logs, and batch logs using scripting and SQL for troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities for automation and automate manual tasks.
