Qualifications

• 4-5 years of Front Office Equities Trading Application Support experience in financial services or investment banking.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration skills with solid SQL troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on scripting experience (Unix Shell, Perl) and familiarity with monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide Front Office production/application support for Front Office Equities applications, ensuring stability and performance of trading/risk platforms.
• Collaborate with traders and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues including trade flow problems and production incidents.
• Monitor platforms, health checks, batch processes, and workflows to ensure system availability.
• Manage incidents and problem management processes.
• Perform start of day, end of day, and start of week checks.
• Analyze logs and batch/activity logs using scripting and SQL for troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks through scripting.
