Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Front Office Trading, Sales, or Risk teams.
• Knowledge of Credit and Fixed Income products.
• Experience in trade lifecycle and front-to-back processes.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Bloomberg, SQL, Excel; VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support to Front Office Credit Trading and Sales teams.
• Serve as primary contact for trader queries and trade investigations.
• Support day-to-day operation of trading platforms for business users.
• Investigate trade issues: booking discrepancies, missing trades, settlements.
• Coordinate with technology, middle office, and operations to resolve issues.
• Monitor critical trading activities and escalate as needed.
• Assist with trade lifecycle investigations and front-to-back analysis.
• Provide system functionality support and process-related queries.
• Utilize Bloomberg, SQL, Excel for analysis and investigations.
• Maintain regular communication with traders and stakeholders.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Credit Trading Support professional to join a leading global financial institution. In this role, you will work closely with Front Office users, technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical trading and risk platforms. Operating in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, the successful candidate will combine technical expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and stakeholder management capabilities to support business-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support to Front Office Credit Trading and Sales teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for trader queries, trade investigations, and business support requests.
• Support the day-to-day operation of trading platforms and ensure a smooth trading experience for business users.
• Investigate trade-related issues, including booking discrepancies, missing trades, settlement queries, and workflow exceptions.
• Liaise with technology, middle office, operations, and other support teams to drive timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor critical trading activities and escape issues where appropriate.
• Assist with trade lifecycle investigations and front-to-back process flow analysis for Credit and Fixed Income products.
• Support business users with system functionality, issue troubleshooting, and process-related queries.
• Utilize tools such as Bloomberg, SQL, Excel, and other support applications for analysis and issue investigation.
• Maintain regular communication with traders and stakeholders, providing timely updates on outstanding issues.
• Contribute to operational process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance user experience and service quality.
• Support new business initiatives, platform onboarding activities, and production readiness reviews where required.

Key Qualifications

• Experience supporting Front Office Trading, Sales, or Risk teams within a banking or financial markets environment.
• Good understanding of Credit products, Fixed Income products, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience in Trade Floor Support, Markets Support, Middle Office, Product Control, or Front Office Support functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact confidently with traders and senior business users.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for trade investigations and issue analysis.
• Familiarity with Excel, including VBA knowledge, would be advantageous.
• Exposure to FIX messaging protocols is beneficial.
• Experience working with Bloomberg or other market data platforms is preferred.
• Understanding of front-to-back operational processes and trade flows.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across business and technology teams.
