• Map current workflows with portfolio managers, traders, risk and ops to define future-state requirements.
• Own the solution architecture across PM, OMS, execution, compliance, risk and data platforms.
• Define target-state architecture and migration path from legacy systems.
• Design integrations: APIs, event-driven patterns, data pipelines and cloud services.
• Set data ownership, lineage, reconciliation and control standards for data domains.
• Work with data engineering teams on scalable Snowflake-based cloud solutions.
• Define non-functional requirements: performance, availability, security, resilience, observability, DR.
• Lead technical design reviews and guide engineering, data, integration and testing teams.
• Challenge vendor designs and hold partners to standards and milestones.
• Contribute to platform selection, build-vs-buy decisions and multi-year tech roadmap.
• Promote engineering standards across CI/CD, automated testing, cybersecurity and resilience.
