Job summary

Blue Box Café Singapore, in partnership with Chef Julien Royer, opens a new concept on Orchard Road and seeks Front of House service staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury retail setting.

You will engage with guests, handle feedback and complaints, manage daily restaurant operations, stock and inventories, and participate in training to uphold standards. Benefits include medical coverage, dining discounts, celebrations, and long-service sabbaticals.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-of-house hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all guest experiences for the restaurant and warmly welcome guests.
• Be highly engaging with guests and colleagues to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and satisfaction.
• Engage with guests in conversation to build strong rapport between guests and the restaurant.
• Take ownership of incidents, complaints and preferences and resolve them effectively.
• Be involved in daily restaurant operations and ensure the quality and consistency of products meet standards.
• Manage stocks and inventories and keep supplies orderly.
• Build and maintain guest relationships and attend to feedback or complaints.
• Maintain housekeeping and report any defects in furniture, fixtures or equipment.
• Participate in and lead training sessions, briefings and team meetings.
• Manage assigned sections to provide excellent service and support opening/closing duties.
