Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to drive growth in sea freight and logistics. You will develop new business, execute sales strategies, and nurture client relationships to hit targets and expand market presence.

The role requires 3–5 years in logistics sales, deep knowledge of sea freight, and strong negotiation and presentation skills. Travel and industry networking are expected components of the position.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of proven sales and business development experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics and sea freight industries.
• Ability to secure customers across diverse industries including food, e‑commerce, project cargo, automotive, chemical, oil & gas, and furniture.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client relationships.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

• Build relationships with new prospective and existing customers.
• Achieve KPIs and budget by executing strategic sales plans in sea freight and logistics.
• Identify and engage cold leads to generate new opportunities.
• Develop opportunities with existing customers contributing to sales growth.
• Analyze client needs to tailor logistics solutions and ensure high-quality service post-sale.
• Lead participation in tenders to secure new contracts and partnerships.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and maintain industry relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams locally and internationally to deliver door-to-door services.
• Network at industry events to promote services; travel as needed.
