Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in freight forwarding or related logistics experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Excellent client-facing communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries with high service standards.
Liaise with overseas offices and agents to coordinate quotations, bookings and shipment execution.
Handle import/export enquiries and bookings across sea, air and land transport modes.
Activate shipments based on confirmed selling rates and cost structures.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance for seamless execution.
Source and maintain competitive rates from hauliers, shipping lines and agents.
Monitor sales performance and contribute to forecasting and pipeline tracking.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Establish and manage client-specific standing orders or SOPs for recurring shipments.
