Job summary

TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Indoor Sales Support Executive in the freight forwarding sector. The role involves handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and sourcing freight rates to support the sales team.

The position runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm at our Little India office in Singapore, with duties including follow-ups and data updates in the company system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, air freight or related industries.
• Basic knowledge of air freight quotations, shipment processes and local trucking.
• Experience handling customer enquiries, rate requests and quotation follow-ups.
• Comfortable with cold calling and customer follow-up.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with freight forwarding software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via email and phone.
• Prepare air freight and local trucking quotations.
• Source and compare freight rates from airlines, trucking providers and overseas agents.
• Follow up on quotations and customer enquiries.
• Conduct cold calls and telemarketing to develop new business.
• Support the sales team with customer follow-up and account servicing.
• Gather shipment details including cargo type, weight, dimensions, collection and delivery locations.
• Update quotations, customer records and sales activities in the company system.
• Provide customer service and perform other sales support duties as required.
