Job summary

Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Cosco Shipping International (Singapore), is looking for an Admin Executive (Freight Forwarding) to support the Supply Chain Department with documentation, data integrity, and PO management. You will coordinate with shipping lines, vendors, and customers to ensure accurate records and timely operations.

The role requires a diploma or equivalent and preferably 2 years in freight forwarding or logistics, with strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Preferably 2 years’ relevant experience in Freight Forwarding or supply chain.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day admin support to the Supply Chain Department.
• Maintain and organize departmental documents, records, filing systems, and databases.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping, logistics, procurement, billing, and other operational documentation.
• Ensure accurate data entry into the SCMS and maintain data integrity.
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of Purchase Orders and monitor supplier quotations.
• Maintain supplier, customer, and vendor records and documentation.
• Develop relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and service providers.
• Prepare customer invoices and verify vendor invoices for cost accuracy.
• Monitor freight rates, costs, and profitability; assist in pricing analysis.
