Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Dimensional Control Inspector for FPSO projects in Singapore. You will ensure dimensional accuracy of all fabricated components and assemblies, working with project engineering, quality and construction teams to maintain structural integrity throughout the build.

Diploma in mechanical/civil/structural engineering and certification in dimensional control are preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma in mechanical/civil/structural engineering or similar.
Certification in dimensional control and measurement techniques is highly desirable.
Experience in offshore or FPSO projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections to verify dimensional accuracy of fabricated components and assemblies.
Maintain records of inspections, NCRs, and communicate deviations to relevant teams.
Collaborate with engineering/design teams to ensure tolerances are met and fabrication aligns with specifications.
Identify dimensional deviations or non-conformances and document them with corrective actions.
Oversee alignment verification during assembly and installation of modules, piping, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO standards and project specifications.
Support QA processes to verify accuracy of components and installations.
Monitor corrective actions for non-conformances and assist in planning rework as needed.
Provide regular updates on inspection status and recommendations to the Quality Lead/Construction Quality Manager.
