Job summary

SBM Offshore seeks a Construction Quality Dimensional Control Inspector to ensure dimensional accuracy of FPSO components, coordinating with engineering and construction teams. You will maintain inspection records, manage NCRs, and drive corrective actions to maintain the integrity of the FPSO structure.

The role requires a diploma in engineering, dimensional control certification, and offshore FPSO experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Certification in dimensional control and measurement techniques.
• FPSO or offshore project experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to verify dimensional accuracy of components for FPSO.
• Maintain records of inspections and NCRs; report deviations promptly.
• Coordinate with engineering/design to ensure fabrication aligns with specs.
• Document deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee alignment and fit-up during assembly and installation.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO standards and project specs.
