Job summary

Aibel is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer for FPSO/EPC projects in Singapore to lead vendor inspection coordination and QA/QC stewardship. You will participate in risk sessions, audits and surveillance, ensuring compliance with ITPs, WPS/PQR reviews and international standards.

Travel may be required to support offshore and onshore activities. Ideal candidates bring a Diploma/Degree in mechanical or materials engineering, CSWIP and Welding Engineer certifications, and extensive experience in

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
International or European Welding Engineer Certification.
Valid CSWIP Welding and NDE Inspection Certification.

Responsibilities

Participate in Vendor Risk sessions and follow up Risk actions.
Support Lead Auditor during internal audits and verifications.
Coordinate and follow up on improvement initiatives to promote QRM in the project.
Manage vendor inspection activities under the guidance of the TPI Coordinator.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure QA/QC documentation compliance.
Attend pre-inspection meetings, conduct surveillance visits, witness tests and issue inspection reports.
Identify non-conformances and ensure deviations are raised, investigated and closed with evidence.
Collaborate with Construction & Mechanical Completion to ensure quality activities are on schedule.
